This 6-module home study course provides an in-depth exploration of historical garden design, showing you how to create a garden that is both authentic and entirely in-keeping with an historical home. The course covers every step in the process, from first research to selecting and sourcing authentic hard landscaping materials and plant varieties. Includes course book, The Garden Makers Manual.

Our tutor support is second-to-none! As with all Learning Curve courses, Heritage Horticulture includes full tutorial support from an experienced and enthusiastic tutor. Students are assigned a personal tutor at the beginning of their course who will work with them all the way through. Tutors can be contacted at any time by e-mail if students have questions or problems or would simply like a chat about their studies. The course includes six tutor marked assignments, during which you will have the opportunity to practice your own design skills.

Students have up to three years to complete this course, allowing them to work through the modules at their own pace. On average, however, it takes students around 6 - 8 months to complete the course, based on 2 - 3 hours study time per week.

You can spread the cost of your course over 4 months by choosing our instalment option. There is a £20 administration fee if you choose this option.
